The Kingdom of Bhutan remained in self-imposed isolation for centuries. Our ancestors adopted this policy of isolation, understandably, for security reasons. This allowed the country to evolve a culture that is unique to Bhutan. Our culture is a living culture and therefore we have not had the need to re-enact anything from the past. Our history has been mostly peaceful throughout its existence. It is indeed a living museum.
Our cultural tour allows you to immerse yourself into our rich and varied heritage. You get to live our culture with the Bhutanese people. Bhutan has deliberately not created any products specifically for tourists or outsiders, besides transport and accommodations.
Apart from Thimphu, the capital of Bhutan, and a few other townships, our villages throughout the country are unaffected by commercialization and consumerism. The lives of our people have been still untouched by modern ills apart from basic amenities such as motor roads, health facilities, safe drinking water and electricity.
We provide tour packages that cater to suit your interests, time, and budget.
